Lessons can be learned through experiments but at what cost? Steven Pinker, a experimental psychologist, once said, â€Å"If you give people literacy, bad ideas can be attacked and experiments tried, and lessons will accumulate.† This quote by Pinker gives a great idea what could happen when people get literate and conduct experiments that they will do to learn more. The Nazi’s wanted to learn more about the human body. During the Holocaust, the experiments that they performed were the most wicked and dehumanising crimes in history. While being in Concentration Camps, Jews had no control over anything. Some Jewish inmates were selected to do various experiments. They did not volunteer for these experiments. They were chosen. He tried to trace the genetic origin of diseases through the twins. In addition, he likes to study their heredity. He was nice to the children he would soon experiment on. He would befriend them by giving them chocolates and candy. Mengele was kind of like a short term father figure in the children’s eyes. So then the children trusted him and called him â€Å"Uncle Mengele.† Mengele got â€Å"his† experimental Jews from the selection when the Jews first got to the Concentration Camp. He could do this because part of his job was to help in the selection of the individuals to be selecte d for the experiments. Whenever a pair of twins came along, most of the time Mengele got them selected for his experiments first. With that, one night Mengele took fourteen pairs of twins and injected each of them with chloroform in their hearts. All fourteen pairs of twins died in one night, so that is a total of 28 people in just one night. Another experiment Mengele is famous for involves the gas chamber. He was the chief provider of the gas chamber. This helped the Nazi’s because it could kill many people in just a few minutes. With him creating the gas chamber, he solved the lice problem within the confined concentration camp. He gassed out 750 women who had lice. This helped so the lice did not spread anymore. Another deference is the ending of both the play and movie. In the play thinking that Juliet is dead, Romeo drinks some poison. When Juliet wakes up and discovering Romeo died she stabs herself with his dagger. They both lie next to each other, dead, and Juliet has yet another funeral, and Romeo has one too. Their families bury their differences and end their long feud. They also built a gold statue to honour Rome and Juliet.In contrast the movie ends with Romeo finding Juliet dead so he drinks the poison but this time Juliet wakes up: but Romeo has already drunken the poison so Juliet shoots her self in the head. Some people were not too happy about that. In conclusion the movie contained the necessary elements for it to be a fairly good adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play â€Å"Romeo and Juliet† but it missed details from the play and added a few details which may not be liked by all audiences. Research Methodology A suitable methodology helps the researcher to develop a structural framework for the current research work. It also includes systematic planning, tools and techniques to conduct and analyse the research study. There are mainly three factors to conduct the current research study work (Flick, 2015). 1. Research design 2. Research approach 3. Research philosophy Researcher has decided to adopt positivism philosophy research methodology for the research study. The objective of the researcher to select this philosophy methodology is that it will provide the real facts for the research topic. In addition to that, deductive/empirical method will be selected to evaluate the basic research postulations based on the available theories. Descriptive research design will be adopted since it assumed to be the most accurate method to collect the data and information from the targeted sample (Hillier, 2006). Quantitative data collection method Qualitative data collection method In this regards, a survey will be conducted with the help of quantitative data collection technique and a semi-structural interview session will be organised under qualitative data collection method (Hastie,Tibshirani Friedman, 2001). Source for Data Researcher will use primary data and secondary data to collect the various responses from the respective individuals. Primary data sources Conducting various surveys and interview session are the prime sources to collect the primary data which will include set of responses and recommendation resulting from questionnaires (set of questions). The questionnaire survey will be conducted with preferably be conducted face to face and if the same is not feasible, then the response would be solicited on e-mail. For the interview session, the researcher will conduct a one to one session with the selected individuals either face to face or over the telephone depending upon the viability (Hillier, 2006). Secondary data sources Requisite data will be gathered from the available articles, journals, websites, books, research papers. For this research study the researcher will be used the below mentioned tools and procedures (Liebermann et. al., 2011). Online/offline survey questionnaires Personal and telephonic interviews Various checklists, general meetings and observations MS excel or SPSS to analyse the data Analysis procedure It has been selected by the researcher that the sample size would be 25 which would include 20 employees and staff of Blackmores and 5 managerial level professionals. According to this framework, critical care patients should be treated in intensive care unit, then shifting to immediate care and finally home care. Intensive care unit and immediate care became very popular in the nursing profession. Home care was not acceptable to most of the nursing professionals in the initial period, however after 40 years, it became essential part of the nursing profession (Brousseau, 2014). She also contributed to the establishment of first coronary care unit. She also developed Patient Assessment of Care Evaluation (PACE). It is a standard system useful to determine quality of particular health care facility. This PACE is still being used in healthcare industry. She also established categorization system for patient care and patient oriented records. A diagnostic related group (DRGs) is the result of her classification of patient records. DRGs became the standard coding system for medicare use and it is useful in categorization of patients based on the primary and secondary diagnosis. This system proved helpful in lowering healthcare cost. Being a consultant and educator, she implemented her nursing theories to the people all over the world.
